Do we really need them every day in our diet?
The term Whole Grain refers to all cereals which include the “Whole Grain” – fibre rich, the starch and high nutritious.
Examples of Whole Grain : Whole wheat, Wholemeal flour and bread, Dahlia, brown rice, oats, ragi, buckwheat, barley and maize.
1. Consuming wholegrain on a daily basis can help maintain a healthy heart.
2. They are highly nutritious and contain Vitamin B, Chromium, Zinc and Fibre.
3. Whole grains help us to have a very good digestive system.
4. This helps us to maintain healthy body weight.
These Whole grains are low in fat and high in fibre can help you feel fuller for longer time which would avoid the temptations of eating snacks.
